Thinking about these things caused me to wonder if such things such as murder, rape and slavery etc are objectively evil, or do we just interpret them as evil?

A federal judge just declared Missouri’s flag desecration law to be unconstitutional and ruled that it cannot be enforced.
I respect our flag and it angers me to see people cut it up, burn it, or do even worse things to it.
What do you think, is it OK to desecrate the flag that represents our country?
Or is that just stretching freedom of speech to far?
