Why Do So Many Women Vote For Men?
Written three years ago but is most likely just as relevant to Hillary Clinton.
Women strongly criticized Hillary Clinton for craving power in a non-feminine and “emotionless” way, and although they liked her when she showed emotion, they didn’t like her when she discussed policy.
Women judged her harshly for standing by her man, suggesting that she did so just to further her own political ambitions.
And The Outcome?
Hilary Clinton barely won 50% of the women’s vote in the Democratic primary fight against Barack Obama.
And she didn’t receive unanimous support among women elected leaders, and several of her female Senate colleagues, such as Amy Klobuchar and Claire McCaskill, endorsed Obama.
I wrote the following a while back, on a different post, but I believe it’s still relevant.
In Connecticut, Republican Linda McMahon had only 34% of the female vote compared to Democrat Richard Blumenthal who had 61% of the female vote.
In Delaware, Republican Christine O’Donnell had only 25% of the female vote compared to her Democratic opponent Chris Coons, who led with 58% of the female vote.
In Nevada, Democrat Harry Reid led Republican Sharron Angle by a 51-33% margin.
So why is this?
Do you have any ideas?
Why do women so often prefer to vote for men?
Will Hillary Clinton Run In 2016?
The NYT is sure she will!
"When she runs in 2016, she will want to separate herself from Mr. Obama".
"Doing it now, more than two years ahead of time, is inadvisable".
